Situation
News and static brochure copy were competing for attention, while sport and performing arts felt like separate islands. Sponsor presentation was inconsistent, which undermined tiers that were supposed to mean something.
What we focused on
- Structured sections: Oxygen layouts for houses, codes of conduct summaries, and fixture-style callouts with fixed patterns.
- News: Category-led archive and featured posts on the home template, so updates did not bury enrolment messaging.
- Governance: Role-based publishing and image guidelines so parent volunteers could contribute safely.
Outcome
A steadier publishing rhythm, clearer pathways into sport and arts, and fewer layout emergencies during term peaks.
