Situation

Customers were asking sensible questions about business continuity, engineering knew where the holes were, and sales wanted language that did not oversell. The story needed evidence, not vibes.

What we focused on

  • RTO/RPO: Aligned to real dependencies, honest about what “minutes” actually means.
  • Tabletop + technical drill: Combined scenario: region loss plus data corruption edge case.
  • Customer comms: Templates and ownership, who says what, when.

Outcome

Sales could answer questionnaires accurately; engineering had a real remediation backlog.
