Sector: Corporate / multi-entity
Focus: Automation & Agentic Workflows, Consulting
Situation
Month-end still leaned on spreadsheets and institutional memory, auditors were asking for repeatable controls, and regional controllers worked different hours. Surprise should not be the default close experience.
What we focused on
- Task graph: Dependencies explicit, no “unblock everyone” when one upstream step slipped.
- Evidence capture: Attachments and sign-offs stored next to the step, not in a parallel email trail.
- Exception paths: When FX or accruals failed validation, tickets opened with context, not silent failure.
Outcome
Shorter close windows and less scramble; audit questions got answers from the system, not archaeology.
