Marketplaces were asking for richer attributes, manual enrichment could not keep pace, and errors were showing up where shoppers make decisions. Bad data quietly taxes conversion.
What we focused on
- Schema first: Allowed values per attribute, validators blocked garbage.
- Human review queue: Edge cases routed to merchandising, bulk approve for safe cases only.
- Provenance: Track which fields were human vs assisted, audit friendly.
Outcome
Faster catalogue readiness with fewer downstream channel rejections.
