Overview
Headless architectures make sense when you need exceptional performance, multi-channel content, or front-end freedom disconnected from a traditional CMS theme layer. We’ve shipped Astro and other modern stacks against Craft, WordPress (headless), or SaaS CMSs - always with a clear answer to “how do editors preview and publish?”
If your front-end or app was bootstrapped with AI codegen or app builders (e.g. Lovable, Openclaw, similar tools), we can still treat deployment, environments, and integrations as first-class - not an afterthought.
Where this helps
- Performance-sensitive marketing sites where every millisecond and layout shift matters
- Teams feeding web + app + other surfaces from one content hub
- Engineering-led orgs wanting CI/CD, typed front-ends, and component libraries
What we focus on
- Stack fit - Astro, Next.js, or static generation - matched to your hosting, auth, and dynamic needs
- Content API - Schema, webhooks, incremental rebuilds, and draft preview patterns
- Integrations - Search, personalisation hooks, forms, and systems at the boundary
- Operational maturity - Environments, secrets, rollbacks, and monitoring
How we work
We only recommend headless when the operational lift is justified - otherwise a well-built coupled CMS often ships faster with lower TCO. When we go headless, documentation and editor training are part of delivery, not an appendix.
